Just a few weeks ago I was at Naohia Falls, but wasn't sure enough in my abilities to climb the waterfall without dropping mucho expensivo camera equipment in the water. So, the obvious solution was to get a waterproof bag and go back. And that's what I did.
It was kinda chilly or I might have braved climbing the next falls as well. Next time....
A lil waterfall climbing video....
And, of course, the rad images...If you think they'll look good on your wall, or even your desktop order from the gallery here.
And a few with the GoPro
FMF (Fat-Man-Factor)(FMF is a difficulty scale from 1-10, from an out of shape, fat, white guy's point of view): 4 The main falls alone was given a 3 so it's only fair to bump this up one because I climbed the main falls. Still not all that bad, and I would imagine even easier if you swim to the falls and climb up. It's a little tricky trying not to get wet :-).
Lots of people jump in these pools. Have at it, but know there's some pretty big boulders uniquely placed in that water. It's gonna be tough to get you out of there should you accidentally jump on one of them. As always, I ain't your daddy. Most of ya can handle more than I can. Some of ya can't. You know you better than I do. Hike at your own risk.
